Meet Tim Goebl!

Tim has been teaching driver education for 14 years. Originally hailing from New Hampshire, he now lives in Scarborough with his wife & three children. Tim is one of our educators who can be found in the classroom or vehicle. That is right, he does both! Working one on one with the students is something Tim really enjoys because it allows him to get to know them better & tailor the driving experience to best suit their needs. When not behind the wheel you will find him outdoors most likely. Running, kayaking, or swimming at the beach. He can also be found cheering his kids on at any of their concerts or performances. Tim also enjoys international travel (he’s been to 20 foreign countries!) When asked about his favorite part of being an instructor he highlighted seeing the students progress from each lesson (and often, even within the same lesson). Seeing how their confidence grows & helps them to become better drivers.

 Meet Steven Grindle!

He is a 20 year certified Maine Driving Instructor and native Mainer. He enjoys meeting young people whom he can help teach driving skills that they will use each & every day for a lifetime. for a lifetime. As an instructor he strives to always do his best to improve the safety of our roadways, one driver at a time. The reward, seeing how students improve to a place that results in them receiving their license! When he is not teaching driver education he enjoys reading, exploring Maine, & spending time playing with his adorable golden doodle Ruby!
