AAA LINK PROVIDED AFTER ATTENDING ORIENTATION

During the span between the third class and the permit test date, students will be participating in the AAA online program and doing their 10 hours of required driving with our driving instructors.

The student's have 4 weeks to complete the AAA course. It is a minimum of 28 hours, and they must do all the work.

They cannot attend the final test night if they have not completed the AAA course.

They can attend the permit test if they still have driving left!

Once the student's have finished all their AAA course, driving, and passed the permit test, they will receive a Course Completion Certificate that doubles as a 60-day temporary permit. During the 60 days, they will need to apply for their 2-year permit at the BMV or through the mail, cost is $35 via check sent to the state of Maine.
